JD is a pioneer on kitesurfing in Porto in that time there weren't kiteschools at all, the kitesurf information existed only in Tarifa and France, the country where the kitesurf born with wipika brand.Tthe  international kitesurf organization start the instructores courses in Portugal and João Diogo do one of the firsts courses to start the beggining courses of kitesurf on portuguese northern beachs.He and is organization Surfing Life Club start the first kitesurf schools in Moledo do Minho and Matosinhos, Porto beachs.

 When is a lot of wind and the surf is ruuff is a perfect way to have fun and keep on ocean and good physical conditions.

Kite Surf School has lessons everyday from February until November. The complete course takes 10 hours and is broken into four sections - 3 afternoons and 1 theoric lesson at our kite center:

 Phase 1 ( 3hrs ) - rules for safe kite, flying of kites with small and large dimensions on land. At the end of this phase the student is able to choose the best material for their physical and handles it safely.

Phase 2 ( 3+3 hrs ) - control the kite in the water, bodydrag techniques and make the first stand ups.

Phase 3 ( 1 hr ) - theoretical session at our kite center to review on-line forescast, spots and material. At the end of this phase the student gains independence necessary for kite.

 In addition we offer an 2 hour long UNHOOK course where you will perfecting the technique of wake-style tricks, tuning the material, trip and "pop". This course is €60.

Package Rates

The 5 day package teaches the above 3 phase course and include equipment, insurance, 5 nights shared accomodation whith breakfast and transport. ~

The 10 day package includes everything from the 5 day package in addition the UNHOOK course and more advanced lessons based on the riders skills.
