JD(Jonhy Di) JOÃO DIOGO start is career of surfing in 1980, on the northern surf beaches of Matosinhos, Porto praia da luz, Azurara, Moledo do Minho, Maceda, Cortegaça, Esmoriz and Espinho, has excellent qualifications and has won several championships as local, regional and national until his back injury in 1994 where he had to leave his career as a competitor and start the porto surf lessons career
Is a surfschools in Portugal pioneer, recognized by the original mobile surf school on portuguese beachs, training and competition year round operation since 1994.
Along the way of surfing travelling around Portugal and remote waves around the world JD met a lot of friends like Bruno Rodrigues , Peste, Jojo, Paulo, Afonso, Antonio, Sofia Valente, Michele and is wife Sofia,now works with them and Creat the surfing life club style!
When he went on his 1st surftrip around the world and cross Australia he believed "Portugal will be an australian way of life "life is the beach" - and an european california " after that he opened his surfschool in Porto and had a great exit with it now 18years, since that time we've seen thousands of surfschools arriving and now is one of the 1st Portuguese hobbies and things to do in oporto, the vision turns reality!

He found a house with 5000m2 of land and with his wife Sofia created the Maceda surf hostel that is close to the pine tree forest and to the beach with excellent conditions for all kinde of surfing, that are his paisson, also have a lagoon really nice for kite surfing stand up paddle and hanging on.
